Title: Yoga for Occupational Therapy Practitioners: How Meditation, Breathwork, and Yoga Practices Can Support You and Your Persons’ Served

Learning Objectives: 

  1. Participants will have an increased understanding of the neuroscience associated with Yoga.
  2. Participants will identify at least 2 types of Yoga for individual practice or to use in clinical work.
  3. Participants will practice and explore the benefits of Yoga exercises for both the body and mind.

Focus of Presentation:

This presentation is ideal for anyone looking for ways to feel supported and create a sense of ease in their work practice. If you’re looking for ways to cope after a long day of caring for the community, holding space for others, rewiring the pathways of the brain to slow down, or simply learning new tools that you can share with your persons’ served this is for you.
