Courses that are submitted for three-year approval reflect a discounted rate.
Single Course: The review fee is based on the total number of contact hours for the course being submitted for review by the provider, not the number of hours participants can earn over the duration of the course.
Multiple Course Conference: The review fee is based on the total number of individual courses, each approximately 60 minutes in duration, that the provider submits to MAOT for review. It is not based on the number of CEUs or contact hours offered by the provider, nor on the number of hours that participants can earn. For example, if a one-day conference includes three sessions—Session A, Session B, and Session C—and each session offers three different course options, the conference consists of nine individual courses in total (three sessions × three course options each). Although each participant will attend only three courses in total, one per session, the provider will submit all nine courses for MAOT review. Therefore, the review fee will be calculated based on nine courses submitted for review, not on the number of sessions or CEUs that participants complete.
Additional Fee Policies
● Three-Course Approval Package: 25% discount on any combination of three single-course submissions.
● Expedited Review Fee: An Additional 25% of the applicable review fee.
● Appeal Fee: 25% of the original application fee.
