Title: AOTA Hill Day Re-Cap: Advocating in MA for Federal Change
Learning Objectives:
1. Identify key priorities for federal OT legislation following AOTA Hill Day
2. Disseminate federal update on key AOTA priorities for 2023-2024
3. Provide live advocacy opportunity for Massachusetts writing campaign to local legislators
Bio: Sarah McKinnon, OT, OTD, OTR, BCPR, MPA, FAOTA, FNAP is an Associate Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy and is the founding Program Director for the Post-Professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy program at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. The curriculum is the first Post-Professional OTD program to offer programming related to justice, equity, diversity and inclusion and is the first PP-OTD program with an interprofessional focus as it shares curriculum with the Institute’s SLP-D program.
