- Improve public speaking skills via practice
- Increase self-esteem through personal contributions
- Increase awareness of the value of shared responsibility among members

Understand presenter responsibilities:
- Create learning objectives
- Submit learning objectives for planned topic to SIG chair
- Create and present topic
- Brainstorm and draft a potential session to share with attendees
- Identify topics of interest and speakers for the year
