Occupational therapists are well-positioned to meet the unique needs for populations experiencing mental health needs. Join the Worcester Mental Health SIG and welcome facilitator Breanna Lynch, MOT, OTR/L from Ohio, as she discusses her unique role as a leader in meeting the mental health and wellness needs of her students in a public school system.

1. Participants will identify ways that OTPs can serve as leaders in mental health settings.
2. Participants will discuss the use of public health and system design approaches to meet the diverse mental health and wellness needs in a school setting.
3. Participants will discuss the importance of evidence based and data driven means to advocate for and advance occupational therapy’s role in mental health and wellness programming.
